Marlay Park in Winter

Marlay Park in Winter has a quiet majestic beauty and waiting to be discovered.  Located about 9km from Dublin City centre, Marlay,Rathfarnham,  is at the foothills of the Dublin Mountains. Marlay is an extensive 300-acre historic demesne with many important features, including a restored Georgian House built in 1794, courtyards and regency walled gardens. It is known for mature woodland walks and extensive recreational spaces. It is also the starting point of the Wicklow Way hiking trail.  It is a favourite walking trail and meeting point and the farmers market happens each weekend.  This little scene is one of the many bridges along the trail.
