Shards of Light Art Exhibition

Shards of Light Art Exhibition in Ballyroan Library Dublin by Donna McGee

Shards of Light Art Exhibition

With the recent relaxation of Covid restrictions, I am very pleased to announce that I have been given the opportunity to have an art exhibition at Ballyroan Library Dublin from 9th June – 26th June 2021.

In observing the current Covid rules, it will be possible to have a small opening reception on Wednesday 9th at 6.30pm -7.30pm outdoors in the gazebo.  If you would like to attend on the night, please email me at: [email protected] as numbers need to be controlled and attendees lists need to be maintained.

I will be in attendance each day for a  “Meet the Artist” hour  and the times will be announced shortly.

This has all come about very quickly so we are figuring it out as we go while observing that we are still living in very strange times and it is of utmost importance to adhere to the current restrictions in the interest of safety.  Ballyroan library has a magnificent exhibition space with beautiful wooden panels and a great hanging system so I feel so very grateful to have access to this facility. It is just so lovely to do normal things again like going to art exhibitions, even putting together a solo exhibition at speed!!

I will be working hard to get it up and ready with hopefully a nice display of both landscape and abstract paintings for the duration of the exhibition.

This art exhibition, Shards of Light will run for a couple of weeks, so I do hope that you will be able to drop by.

Let me know if you are coming, and I can make sure to be there to greet you with a smile and a chat.
