Celebrating 30 years of original art on Merrion Square

There was a superb range of commemorative canvas squares that sold for €50 also some artists gave demonstrations.  This was a great success but for the downpours of rain.

Sincere  thanks to Liz Prendergast and the Merrion Square Artists Association who organised this fundraiser and €602 was delivered to the Capuchin Day Center in Dublin – a very worthy cause.   Please see below  an excerpt from their response:

Just a brief note to acknowledge receipt of €602 which was passed on to us by Elizabeth Prendergast and which was the proceeds of your fundraising activity in aid of the Day Centre.  This money will be used to help us in our work with people who are homeless or in need.
